Getting started
What is Forex trading?
Forex (foreign exchange) trading is buying one currency while selling another, for example EUR/USD. It is the largest financial market in the world, open 24 hours a day, five days a week. Traders aim to profit from changes in exchange rates.
How much money do I need to start trading?
Many brokers let you open an account with $100 or less, but a realistic starting balance for learning proper risk management is $500–$2,000. Start on a demo account first and only trade with money you can afford to lose.
Is trading Forex and crypto legal?
In most countries, yes — but rules differ. Always use a broker or exchange regulated in your jurisdiction (for example FCA, CySEC, ASIC or the SEC/CFTC) and check local tax rules.
Which market is best for beginners: Forex, crypto or stocks?
Stocks and ETFs are usually the easiest to understand and the least leveraged. Forex offers high liquidity and low costs but uses leverage. Crypto is the most volatile. Many beginners start with long-term stock investing and learn active trading on a demo account.
Trading & risk
What is leverage and why is it risky?
Leverage lets you control a larger position with a small deposit. With 1:30 leverage, $1,000 controls $30,000. It magnifies profits and losses equally — a 3.3% move against you can wipe out the whole deposit.
How much should I risk per trade?
Most professionals risk 0.5–2% of their account on a single trade. That way even a long losing streak does not destroy the account.
Do you sell trading signals?
No. RegiusForex is an education project. We explain how we analyse the market so you can make your own decisions.
Passive income
What is copy trading?
Copy trading lets you automatically replicate the trades of another trader (a strategy provider) in your own account, in proportion to your balance. You keep control of your funds and can stop copying at any time — but you also take on all of the provider’s losses.
What is crypto lending?
Crypto lending means lending your coins or stablecoins to borrowers through a centralized platform or a DeFi protocol in exchange for interest. Yields can be attractive, but you take on platform, counterparty and smart-contract risk.
What is the difference between staking and lending?
Staking locks coins to help secure a proof-of-stake blockchain and earns network rewards. Lending gives your coins to borrowers for interest. Staking risk is tied to the network and validator; lending risk is tied to the borrower and platform.
Is passive income from trading really passive?
Not completely. Copy trading, lending and dividend portfolios need initial research and regular monitoring — at least monthly — to rebalance, review performance and react to risks.
